Nestled right in the heart of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel Radetzky surprised me with its charm and cozy atmosphere during our recent getaway. The hotel, freshly refurbished, boasts elegant rooms that provided the comfort we craved after a day of exploring the stunning landscapes around Lake Wolfgang. We enjoyed our mornings on the sun terrace, with breakfast featuring delightful dishes that catered to both traditional tastes and modern culinary flair. The staff were exceptionally warm, truly making us feel welcomed-something that resonates deeply with my values as an eco-tourism advocate. One of my favorite moments was when the receptionist shared local hiking and cycling routes that perfectly suited our adventurous spirits! With access to water sports and the beautiful cycling paths nearby, this hotel is a fantastic launching point for a variety of outdoor activities. For plenty of varied sightseeing, the proximity to Salzburg and Bad Ischl can't be beaten-so much to experience within just a half-hour's drive.
